What is CBD Tincture (oil)?

CBD Tinctures are highly concentrated forms of CBD and sublingual delivery is one of the most preferred methods. By keeping the tincture under your tongue for at least 90 seconds or up to two minutes for maximum effect, you bypass your digestive tract which takes longer for the CBD to take effect. All the blood vessels in your mouth help absorb the CBD and allow it to work faster. Effects usually last around 6-8 hours. Everyone is different.

Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the components of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa), including CBD and also small traces of THC and terpenes, which are plant compounds.
Broad-spectrum CBD is full-spectrum but without THC.

What is Full-spectrum CBD?

Full-spectrum CBD has under 0.3 % THC and even though this is very low and legal most everywhere, full-spectrum CBD can trigger a false positive drug test if consumed at high doses and it used regularly. Most people never feel intoxicated from these trace amounts of THC and really enjoy the taste and smell of hemp associated with Full spectrum.

Full-spectrum CBD may deliver greater benefits because it contains additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids but if you have any concerns about THC levels and drug tests, you may want to consider Broad spectrum CBD instead

What is Broad-spectrum CDB?

Broad-spectrum CBD shares similarities with Full-spectrum because it uses cannabidiol with all the other compounds found in hemp. The difference is the THC is removed from the Broad spectrum after the extraction process while retaining several of the different cannabinoids, such as CBN and CBG. Broad-spectrum also uses additional terpenes and flavonoids. This allows Broad-spectrum to generate the benefits of Full-spectrum without THC.

Broad-spectrum may be most useful for people who might be sensitive to THC or for people wanting to use CBD oil for the first time.
Again, if you live with stricter cannabis laws or you have concerns about THC levels for drug screenings, you may want to choose Broad-spectrum so you can still enjoy the benefits of whole plant content without the THC.

Broad-spectrum CBD could be viewed as the best of both worlds in terms of CBD oils. Broad-spectrum has no risk of any psychoactive effects, but like Full spectrum CBD, it can also offer amazing benefits.

What is better, Broad or Full-spectrum?

Honestly, it doesn’t have to be a competition between the two. The best question is which one will better suit your needs. You may have to try each one depending on your needs.

For some, Broad-spectrum is the best choice because it’s like receiving all of the good and none of the bad if that’s how you view THC. If you’re fine with THC, you may be just fine using Full-spectrum as long as you live in an area allowing it and you won’t be doing drug screenings.
